Case Study - Kitchen
Miss B - Kitchen in Milton Keynes
This is a new build near to Milton Keynes. Our client had a kitchen we made in the house she was moving from so we became a natural choice for her new home.
The open plan nature of the ground floor, and space given over to the kitchen meant we had great opportunities to create something special.
The kitchen has two islands, one with a bar area for high stools looking over the drinks cupboard.
The American style fridge sits just to the side with a wine chiller and storage.
The angled bay led us to create the dropped octagonal ceiling for lighting and room extraction. LEDs are concealed all around for up lighting, plus downlights.
The furniture mixes two paint shades with natural oak and includes elements of Stainless Steel, including the plinths. Both convex and concave curved doors cabinetry help give a contemporary look which is what Amanda was hoping for.
No less than 4 materials are used for the counter tops all working well together and with the furniture below.
A built in refrigerated room provides for an additional cold/fresh food store and it nicely concealed behind the single door set across the angle leading to the dining area.
